Oppression,
Depression,
What an odd obsession
He had for one girl.
Never letting her go out,
At least not without
Him to escort her.
New people she could not meet
While strolling down the street
Because he clung to her tightly.
Oppression,
Repression,
She felt all her days,
Until, finally, one night,
She managed to take flight,
And no longer be subject to his control!
