Life Lines
I look at the creases,
on the palm of my hand.
So many ways to go.
I don't understand.
Which path is,
the right one to take.
If I go this way?
Will it be a mistake?
How will I know,
if I've made the right choice?
Will it leave me in tears,
or will I rejoice?
I'm faced with,
a new decision all of the time.
Did I make the right one?
I'm loosing my mind.
Because one line is short,
and the other is long.
Will I live to be old,
or did I get it wrong?
