Dreams Never Die

When one dream is shattered, another one is born.
Never give up trying, victory will one day be yours.
I come from a small town, where dreams get laughed away.
Thinking of actually being something, was just child’s play.
It's never easy, making your dreams come true.
If you toss it aside, it will never come to you.
You have to take the respect you deserve.
No one will give you, what is rightfully yours.
I speak from experience, I have put my dreams aside.
It has cost me greatly, and damaged my pride.
Stop wondering how your life is going to be.
Work on your dreams, take it from me.
People may laugh, and call you names.
But, in the end, you will have no shame.

I have given up, a few times in my life.
Then despite the odds, I gave it more strife.
My dreams will come true, because I have tried.
Yours will too, if you remember these lines.

Regardless, of what anyone tries.

Never give up, for dreams never die.
