Lightness of Being.
"Do you get boys? They're so weird. Who knew. You? I didn't get the memo. Missed that day in school. Never learned to speak Martian. Hmmm?" ~ Ruthieism
Did you ever notice the smile on the sad clown's face? To think of it makes me shed one solemn, single tear. But only one. Sometimes it seems all we think of is pain and sadness and hurts and woes, frights and fears, dooms and distress. No wonder we think it is all so meaningless and that the being-ness of it all is all rather unbearable. Least of which, rather pointless and meaningless. But that is such fated and pointless bull-crap, too. May as well tie a millstone around our neck for speaking such fated nihilism! BOO-HOO!
There is so much more than sadness and loneliness and bitterness and emptiness and pain and meaninglessness and vanity of vanities here in this realm. I am so sick and tired of hearing how horrendously horrid it is for everyone here and all we can do is suffer in silence and get through it all as best as we can. Or that being human is hard and life is hell. That's simply disgusting! Believe me, I know the intricate details of a hard-knock life better than most people will ever come close to in 1,000 lifetimes! True, Life is challenging and this is not a perfect world or Utopia, but, it is much more than a fated world of despair and sadness here!
Life is running over with Life. It is so full - fecund! It is pregnant with possibility! It is, it is! There is so much more to it than the fated doom you accept, or the silent gloom you have made a pact with. Oh, there is, there is! There is singing and there is dancing, and not just in the rain! Though that is a fun place to sing and dance, too! There is a place, so poignant, so pristine, so profound, a place, one slight step, just past the pain, it is there where I speak of. It is in that place where a shattered heart becomes whole again. Restored. The deeper you are in darkness, the closer you are to the light.
Heaven is a place on earth. As above, so below. As within, so without. No one can dictate the pace at which we lead our lives but us. Yet, there is a Master of our fate, with whom we are co-conspiring at all times whether we are cognizant of this or not. Ultimately, no one can harm us, but ourselves. No one knows our final hour - no psychic, no doctor. Only God knows.
When the sky rains down its abundant mercies
