Every day you are alive you are dying. Every day you are that much closer to your final breath, really every moment could potentially be your last. Life is short, it is precious and real life is rare. Every day whether you realize it or not you are living and dying at the same time. There is so much indescribable beauty in this world it would be impossible to see it all to take it all in. And on the other hand, there is so much pain, and suffering no one could ever bare to see it all even if it were possible. To live like you are dying is every day you do what you need to and do what you want to. You live day to day and let tomorrow worry about itself, that doesn't mean you put things off until later, it means that instead of wasting your time wondering what tomorrow will bring you focus your energies and what today has already had. You love the people close to you, you influence those around you, you get whatever knowledge you want to get out of this life, and you recognize the miracle that you are.
Matthew 6:27 "Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?" Don't worry just live. Matthew 6:34 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." That can be considered as my slogan for life. Just read it carefully it has so much truth to it and if you apply that life is so much easier. Breathe in the passion, sear through pain and live. Life is more than breathing and going through the motions, it's more than money and status among your peers, co-workers, or any other person out there. It's about you; it's about you growing in who you are and who you were made to be. Don't get caught up in expectations or pressures to be perfect. Don't get stuck in the rut of rules and regulations, greed, or self-pity. Don't ever give up this is your chance to live; your one chance to live. No matter how old you are there is a chance to begin anew, as long as there is a breath left in you there is a chance to turn yourself around.
Try no to rush through life, it's important, and if you're always in a hurry you'll lose the chance to meet a lot of people and have a lot of memories. To live like you are dying is to appreciate what you have and who you know. Life won't always be easy, nothing ever is but that doesn't mean it isn't worth living.
