Writing articles is an enjoyable pastime that is gaining in popularity. There are many people that have written hundreds of articles to various websites. If you are new to writing, one of the biggest challenges is finding a website that is just right for you.
Associated Content
This site is one of the most popular writing sites on the internet. You can earn money by submitting articles for upfront payments or by performance payments. Upfront payments are normally between $2.00 and $15.00. A performance payment is $1.50 per 1000 views. All payments are through Paypal. Articles must be at least 350 words in length and all content must be original. Associated Content has recently joined forces with Yahoo.
Bukisa
Bukisa is another site where you publish articles and receive payments based on views. Your payment is based on the “Bukisa index”. Currently the index is $3.19 per 1000 views. You can submit up to 25 articles per day and you can submit articles that you have published on other sites. It is recommended that you add original material for better earnings.

You can earn payment for your articles on Helium by revenue sharing, writing contests, and upfront payments. To earn payments from revenue sharing, you post an article to a specific title. Readers vote on your article compared to others on that title. Helium also has writing contests where you can earn extra money by writing on specific topics. You can earn upfront payments if you have at least one writing star and post to a title with less than 5 articles. Articles submitted to Helium must be at least 400 words. You also must not submit duplicate content.
