A Challenged Stretch
I imagine sometimes
That I am abstract
One line connecting another
Circles and dots
Dividing parts
Triangles and squares intertwined
Until nothing can be deciphered
The absence of anything real
A flowing symbol
Structured in color that thrives to be
Designed with no real intention
Outlined and planned with skilled manner
Layers upon layers mass-produced
An awful lot of something
Colors and more colors
With none of them blending
A blueprint conceived for a purpose
Something on a drawing board
Gone crazy
A weave of the soul’s gears
The heart’s chaotic wires
The mind in tipsy-turvy
The bone of a feather
After its been picked
The hub of shock and after shock
A prototype in dream of victory
A vortex shape
Possibly an authentic piece of leather
Engraved and never used
An electrified fence
Rusted with no voltage
A wishing well gone dry
With nothing of substance to fill it
And in the corner
A sign that reads:
“just testing”

I am not sophisticated
Well informed or educated
In the values that are used
I am just a bit bewildered
Of the issues complicated
I could shove a cat inside a donkey
and throw eggs at a wall;
it doesn’t mean that it means
anything.
I could write
