As the busy week draws to an end
I allow myself the delights and luxury
of indulging in a quiet reverie
A special chapter of life unfolds
The miraculous process of life within
The wondrous development all-round of our kin
The galaxy of times spent together
some good, some bad, some happy and some sad
All merged and intertwined together
to teach some lessons of days
Long gone by, but never lost
And then, by the power of the Almighty
I experience a Miracle wrought.
I feel the glowing warmth of their closeness
encompassing my aching heart
It soothes, energizes and revitalizes,
It fills the void and eases the pain
In my throbbing heart
I am refreshed, recharged and renewed
O yes, what a Blessing it is to be a Mother
What more could I possibly want?
So what if they are thousands of miles away
Across the continents and oceans!
I know they will always be there with me
Every single hour of every coming day.
Now, an empowering calm envelops my soul
My very being is rejuvenated
O yes, life as a Mother is truly Blessed
Motherhood, the divinest attribute of all God's bounties
Has transformed me into a person WHOLE
A stronger person and a wiser person
A caring, sharing and giving person
What more could I want or be!
Just being a Mother has given me plenty
Of opportunities countless for me to grow
Adding a myriad of new dimensions
To my once hungry soul
Thus submerged with pride
And gratitude, I pray
May the Blessings of Motherhood always prevail.

I made the choice to give you life
And you gave life back to me
More than I can ever express the gifts I have from you

You two were my reason for bothering to try
You two were my chance to be giving

Will be fine

It's not
Bloated like a gas balloon
nauseous from dawn 'til noon
prone to unexpected tears
joyous laughter, hidden fears
