Online surveys at Global Test Market.com

Making money online isn’t easy.  For anybody who has spent time seeking a viable source of income through the internet, dead-ends and false promises are found much more often.  However, there are a few websites that produce a small income for the user.  Global Test Market is one such website.

When you sign up with Global Test Market, you’ll be encouraged to fill out five-minute profile surveys.  There are 10 profile surveys designed to screen you for future surveys.  Based on your responses in the 10 profile surveys, Global Test Market will email invitations to surveys you will likely qualify for.  I work with several other survey sites and I qualify for more surveys with Global Test Market than with any other.  In fact, I had to cancel my membership to another website due to the constant bombardment of my inbox with surveys I never qualified for.  With Global Test Market, I qualify for 80-90% of the surveys I’m invited to.  The most important factor is to be honest in every survey.

Global Test Market gives rewards through MarketPoints.  Each survey is rewarded with a different number of MarketPoints based on length or difficulty of the survey.  For example, I recently completed a survey in which my reward was 35 MarketPoints.  When cashing in your MarketPoints, you will receive $.05 for every MarketPoint.  So when I completed the survey for 35 MarketPoints, I was awarded with $1.75.

You will need to accumulate 1000 MarketPoints ($50) before you can redeem your points for cash.  And the most important thing to remember is that MarketPoints can and do expire.  MarketPoints expire three years from the date of award or upon twelve months of account inactivity.  I’ve been doing surveys for four or five years and have found that I rarely cash in on my online earnings.  Thus, keeping track of expiration is important.

As the popularity of online survey sites continues to grow, I’ve noticed that the rewards have decreased.  When I started, I filled out three or four surveys per day in which I would earn $3 for every survey.  With more respondents for the surveys, demand has increased and the websites are now able to pay less for the surveys.  Global Test Market used to offer 50 MarketPoints for almost every survey.  It is now standard for them to offer 35 MarketPoints.  They often only offer entries into monthly sweepstakes, leaving the respondent without compensation.

Online surveys will never make anybody a rich person.  But once you find a few good money-making sites, you can find yourself adding up a nice little bonus check every once in a while.  For example, I’ve cashed out from one website in the past for $600.  Between three or four websites, I currently have over $1,600 that I can cash out at any time.  So even though I spent 15 minutes filling out a survey for only $1.75, it adds up over time.  And I enjoy the idea of cashing out on that money and going on a nice vacation!
