Laugh so the world can laugh with you
Cry and you cry alone
You take out of life what you put in
Sorrow walks before you
Serenity walks besides you.
Your peace inside
Is your voice outside
Be real and alive
The rest will survive
Mirth and joy floats in my heart.
I sleep in sombre times
But awake with a dream
To grace an untrodden
Path of glory from
A cruel world asunder
To a man with love immortal.
