a quote comes to mind
that says rumors of their death
have been greatly
exaggerated
in my case, rumors of my life
have been greatly
exaggerated
i will be the first to admit
i made several bad
decisions
as it is, i did own my mistakes
and faced
consequences
since, living down
the perceptions of others
persists
and when i look
at the few i care to know my
truth
i see you in my past
and hurt filled my heart with
regret
life gave me a chance
to revisit a time so vividly
remembered
the importance of
our time was not realized until
maturity
my spirit has been
renewed by the acceptance you
bestow
and your ability to see
with clarity is hopeful for better
tomorrows
healing along with
an opportunity for you to see
my"Self"
was found when i saw you
for a casual 8 hour lunch
reunion
the rumors are far more
intersting than truth of
matters
for in reality i spend
a great deal of time in
introspection
and seeking the guidance
of God to be the best
possible
to myself and those
i love and meet as if
Angels
are in my presence
each time i cross paths with
anyone/thing
for i find living with love
for everyone and my"Self"
enough
to sustain my spirit
and fill my heart with more
joy
than sorrow although
imperfect as life may be
repeatedly
so i hope you do not think
me too presumptuous to
express
my gratitude and feelings
about life returning us
together
regardless of tomorrow
i am satisfied to know
today
that you are more imortant
to me than when we were
young
only this time i am certain
of who i am and how to
stand
on what i want, what i
believe, how i feel,
regardless
of outside influences
or opinions of which
abound
while my need for
privacy contributed
greatly
to sordid stories
of my life and
yours
it is my great pleasure
to know you now and you know
me
your simplicity and depth
are more than i would have
imagined
and i want to say how
very happy i am in the
now

A Letter To [You]
Just like cake, I'm willing to watch you bake until fully cooked
And just like Yahtzee, I'm willing
From a dream I awoke
Deep beneath the dreadful blankets on my bed
Massive pillows holding up my weary head.
The dream was

Fantasy and Reality intertwine
to make beauty and truth become lost
in each other.
Stark Reality offers little solace,
in times
"Apparitions"
You freely claim to touch reality
yet you touch only the perception of reality
where even time does not exist
REALITY
Ever searching
often in frustration
seems so endless
with invisible barriers
and unseen constrictions.
Blind , self - inflicted
stranded
