The unicorn from a myth was born
Said to have powers in his horn
In the middle of his head, this projection
neutralized poisons, offered protection
Hard to tame, difficult to capture
The sight of a virgin ensured rapture
‘Tis said he’d lay his head in her lap
and proceed serenely to take a nap
Then, his capture, no longer hard
was simple when catching him off-guard
Caught while under the maiden’s spell
The mystic unicorn they tried to quell
Captors enthralled with the feature
atop the head of this beautiful creature
tried to claim it for their own
But the virtuous maiden bade them begone
The maiden saved the magnificent being
from the would-be captors, sent them fleeing
Protected this entity with aura unique
Preserving his air of legendary mystique

A unicorn
The unicorn from a myth was born
Said to have powers in his horn
In the middle of his head, this projection
