Is Jesus A Myth?
The question leans to trying to prove whether God exist. It is interesting that we claim having this knowledge will some how change us. Oh, a few of us will change, but for the most part we will not change who we are or how we behave. Biblical history has a number of examples of this thought process: Jesus' own disciples, after walking with Jesus and seeing the miracles he performed when Jesus asked the question, “Who Do You Say I Am?” They're telling him he's a great teacher even after time, and time again He did what no other person on earth has ever done by healing people and feeding people. Would mankind be so much better in respecting and serving ideals of Jesus the Christ today, I personally don't thinks so. Today, we can't even take time to respect each other on the roadways. If our tailgating someone along the roadway results in that person being in a car accident Oh Well that gives us something to talk about at the lunch room table at work-Right!
If Jesus A Myth, where did life come from? Can One lay a rock on the ground and think that even after 10 billion years it's going to produce life. You have to start with life to produce live. So where did life come from? There is life already in the male sperm, one can't dig up a male after 20 or 30 years and extract life sperm so where did life come from?
How we criticize people daily- someone gets robbed and someone is quick to say “Well They Shouldn't Have Been Carrying That Much Money.” If someone is beaten up in the bad part of town someone will say “Well They Shouldn't Been In That Part Of The City.” If someone gets shot in a drive-by- “Someone will say well they should have known that they do drive-byes in that neighborhood.”
Is Jesus A Myth? I bet if Jesus showed up today and start talking “love your brother, listen to your parents, forgive your enemy" people will be so ready to throw his behind in a mental institution so fast it would make your head spin and the rest of us will continue doing what we've always done because we really aren't about hearing that kind of message.
Is Jesus A Myth? There are a lot of people dead and alive that had better pray that Jesus Really Is A Myth!
