Poetry: Easter

by Barbara Garcia

Created on: March 21, 2010

A wonderful saviour,

Who suffered, bled and died.

A man so great,

To give his life for yours

As well as for mine.

Love so unconditional,

Jesus gave to you and me.

As he hung his head and close his eyes,

hanging from that tree.

Three days later, to every ones surprise,

My Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,

Defeated death and opened up his eyes.

He is Risen!
