Angie:
I'm not a hero
So take me off that shelf
I'm just a man
Ordinary, like everyone else
Right now you are just too hurt to see
But Angie, you're the hero to me
I know that’s my sister behind those eyes
The same one, growing up, I'd tease all the time
Fight the fight and conquer your mind
We're all here, waiting, on the other side
Your brain will heal itself
It's patiently waiting we can all do without
So take a breath and oxygenate your mind
It'll all get better, given a little time
Here are two things I know would motivate me
Garrett and Breanna
They need their mommy
So with every step you take
Surmount the pain
And picture their face
I'm not a hero
So take me off that shelf
I'm just a man
Ordinary, like everyone else
Right now you are just too hurt to see
That Angie, you're the hero to me

Healing You
Darkness falls while innocence quickly fades, taking everything you think is yours
Control, stability and ripping
MENDED AND COMMENDED
Plunging wound, I needed healing,
Gangrene growing, blood congealing,
Flesh escaping in a haze,
I recounted
