With all the quick fix "solutions" on the market for the skin, is there a natural remedy to keep the skin looking its best? Does wonderful skin always have to start from the inside out.
Let's examine a few remedies that I have found to do wonders for the skin, from the inside out. Instead of covering up with "cover girl", openly expose the beautiful skin underneath.
Fish oil pills are an excellent way to make the skin looks its best with a healthy radiant glow. They also are good for a healthy heart.
Raw Shea butter does for the skin what buffing and polishing does for leather shoes. It is for all skin types. Using this will make you throw your shimmering make up away.
Raw Shea butter fades bumps, blemishes, helps acne, psoriasis, and it penetrates the skin fast. Pay attention to your veins when you apply it. It makes the blood circulate better. It drains toxins from sore muscles, and it has a natural latex. So it is a natural sunscreen. Put shea butter around the eyes for dark circles. It will increase the blood circulation in that area. Don't mention tanning because when it comes to a tan, shea butter is the way to go. It will not come off in the swimming pool. Watch how the water will bead up on the skin. It is loaded with vitamin E, and vitamin K. Make sure it has not been diluted. If it is white in color, it has been diluted. Shea butter should have a nutty smell and should be pale yellow or cream color.
Evening Primrose oil is also excellent for inside out skin health. It helps to control acne and is good for all skin types. Primrose oil is also an excellent natural female pain killer when it comes to cramps.
For oily skin, tea tree oil is very good in controlling the oil. A Whole Foods or some other health food store will carry the pure tea tree oil. The good Tea Tree oil comes from Australia. It has to be put in some sort of lotion or cream because it is very potent. But make sure what ever lotion or cream you use on your skin, its natural.
Exercise and drinking plenty of water helps make the skin look pure and refreshed. When you sweat it makes the impurities exit your pores. Raw fruits and vegetables provides the vitamins that our skin need. If you don't like eating fruits and vegetables, find a multi-vitamin supplements.
The chemicals in various products "kill" our skin. So it is very important to look for all natural skin care products.
Don't wash your face with soap. The chemicals in the soap "kill" your skin, leaving it thirsting for moisture. There are many natural soaps out there that do not take away the moisture, just the impurities.
Raw black soap is one that works wonders. It is made from plantain hull ashes and is all natural. Dudu Osun is one that works wonders for me and my customers. It is good for razor bumps, is a natural skin exfoliator, works wonders with oily skin and is good for all skin types and more.
Honey oatmeal soap is wonderful also. Lemon grass soap helps oily skin.
There are a number of websites that give you simple home recipes for soap, skin creams, salves, more. Google in natural skin care and enjoy what you find. Because healthy skin does start from the inside out.
