Whatever the cause

Of a poem’s loss,

Soul on Trial

As the days go by, and
accusations fly
People I don't know, whispering
where ever I go

Do they have
No life of their

I almost blame those all around me

More than I blame him

The ones who could perhaps have found me

Just could not begin

To analyse

Blame it on me

I forgot to fall
Watched you lose it all
Turn your face away
You're the one who'll pay
Place all the blame on

Where have the days of chivalry gone?
Now an invisible word faded into obscurity
How I wish that I was wrong,
Because my hope
