As a former waitress, this is how I weigh my tips!

HOW I RATE WHAT I TIP!

20-30% TIPS or MORE

1. Good Sociability-can earn extra points and trust.
2. Good Responsiveness-even if you don't remember to bring the extra cup of ranch dressing but promptly go and get it.
3. Good Cleanliness-looking clean is powerful.

4. Good Checking-Yes, please check on me at least twice through the meal.
5. Good Manners-This is a must.
6. Good Time-Making the dinner pleasant, not too quick not too slow

10-15% TIPS
l. Sociability- You say hello, serve food, ask if there is anything else and then bill
2. Responsiveness-Eventually you get the cups filled but don't have to wait too long.
3. Cleanliness-you look clean but did you just touch your hair a minute ago?
4. Checking-passing by but that's ok
5. Manners-are nice
6. Time-Dinner might have been served a little slow but you apologize and let me know

10% or LESS
1. Sociability-I'm not feeling sorry for you because you hate your job
2. Responsiveness-If I have to ask you more than 3 times for ranch dressing
3. Cleanliness-this is kind of a given
4. Checking-not checking with me at anytime during the meal
5. Manners-I will be civil if you are and vice-versa
6. Time-if I'm waiting more than 20 minutes for someone to serve me I'm leaving-no tip
