Illegals
Who benefits most from health care reform? It's hard to say. There are so many. First, illegal aliens benefit. They are covered and they will be first in line to grab the goodies, elbowing out the aged and the infirm that just got axed from Medicare.
Communists
Certainly anyone who is a communist, Marxist, or socialist will benefit. These various kinds of leftists have wanted a cradle to grave system of Soviet style government for decades. With the government owning lock, stock and barrel one sixth of the economy, at last they will get their wish. Congratulations! You are now a government slave.
Communists in Drag
Liberals and progressives of all stripes will benefit. These people have wanted to choose your toilet paper and your nose wipes for you forever. Now they can. Only government approved toilet paper will be sold in stores owing to the bad health effects of the non-government approved brands.
Since abortion is health care, those who are against abortion will be forced to pay for the abortions of those who want them. The same for sex changes, Viagra or whatever used to be someones private business. Now everyone will pay for the private whims of others.
Criminals
Thieves, fraud artists, con-men and criminals of all sorts will benefit. There is nothing like a central government run program for fraud. What this means is that to get a really good score, the thieves only have to break into one computer and to get access to it they only have to bribe a very few people. Prepare for about a trillion new dollars in new waste, fraud an abuse.
The enemies of freedom and liberty as well as any foreign competitor will benefit from the fall of the last free, capitalist government on earth. They will be able to say: There lies capitalism on the ash heap of history.
Wealthy
Wealthy individuals and corporations will certainly benefit. Given that US companies will no longer be directly carrying the costs of health care against their bottom line, wealthy corporate managers and wealthy stockholders will make out like bandits.
Rich corporations loved giving jobs to illegal aliens at the expense of American workers since they did not have to give illegal benefits and they could pay them less. Oddly enough, the rich almost always benefit from government policy. It's almost as though things were planned that way.
Of course the slobs at the bottom who are subject to the Brave New Health care will not benefit. In fact at first they will see services drop and their taxes go up. The illegal aliens who were deliberately put first in line will get the best of whatever health care there is.
Taxpayers will find their favorite doctors have left the business and maybe the country. There will be long lines for every conceivable service. And when the service is rendered, it will often be inadequate and just plain wrong. When something is “free” folks will use unlimited amounts of it.
This will produce lines. People in line for cough drops will crowd out the people in line for congestive heart failure. Get your affairs in order. Make sure your will is up to date.
There will be no death panels. Everyone knows you don't like that term. Instead they will be something like end of life choices or hospice enhancement.
