A look at Nancy Pelosi's role in health care reform

Government by Bribery

It appears that democrats will do anything to get Socialized medicine enacted.  Even legalized bribery. Sometimes the bribe offering and taking has colorful names and imagery: The Louisiana Purchase, The Cornhusker Kickback.  What these names mask is the blatantly unconstitutional nature of the so- called compromises upon which Marxist Medicine is being enacted. It violates equal protection and due process to force some states to pay for the Socialized medicine of other states.

And the law breaking of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Chairman Obama does not stop there. It violates US law and custom for the federal government to require, on pain of imprisonment, that private citizens buy a particular product from private companies for no other justification than they have been born.

It is true that no living communist can see this point—they are forbidden by their religion. In fact it is a true test of whether or not someone is at heart a communist if such a person is asked: does the federal government have the power under the US constitution to force a private person to buy a product from a particular set of companies who meet particular government requirements?

It is even more odious when the federal government has through sloth, greed, bribery, and inefficiency failed to do all it could easily do to make this product  we are forced to buy—health insurance—as inexpensive as possible.

Creating a government bureaucracy, let's call it Commie Care, will make health care more expensive, not less. Government has no incentive to save money—bureaucrats make the same money and keep their jobs no matter how much things cost.

Two things the government should have done to make health care less expensive are to enact loser pays tort reform and to allow competition across state lines. Loser pays would mean that the loser of a lawsuit would have to pay his own court costs and those of his opponent.

Competition across state lines would enable insurance companies from all over the country to compete for your business, thus driving down costs.

The only reason congress has not enacted these reforms is that they have been bribed by trial lawyers, insurance companies, and foreign nations not to do so.

All revenue bills are supposed to begin in the House of Representatives.  Therefore Nancy Pelosi’s latest scheme to get out of the fact
