She was clothed in black and her face painted white
Her lips was painted red
She looks as if she was asleep
It was strange as we said goodbye
They cried, those faces around me
They were sobbing and screaming
They cried, those faces around me
I know them yet I felt like a stranger
Then
The fire became strong and fierce
engulfing her in madness
the last of her
as those faces around me
they cried
Yet I stood there alone
a stranger among family
a stranger among friends
I do not cry
I couldn't cry
The fire died
and she was gone
