FRANK THE FARMER
Frank the farmer has fallen on troubled times
His crops have failed in the persistent rain
And how his wife and family feel the pain
As the debilitating debt of hunger climbs.
The once fertile flowing fields of golden corn
Caressed by the shimmering sun and dancing wind
Which once brought wealth and peace of mind
Now bear a reality that is so heavily borne.
He constantly strives to find the infernal reason
To why he has been granted so much anguish
And poverty to which he must now languish
As a consequence of the inclement Summer season.
The cycle of the seasons continually revolve
Bringing unbeknown conditions as the days unfold
With the farmer praying for endless fields of gold
Knowing his life of strife would then dissolve.

The bull bucked
