Coming Undone
I knew it couldn't be perfect forever
But I didn’t think we’d settle for this
Have you forgotten what you stood for?
Don't you realize that something's amiss?
Nothing is worth changing who you are
You're not the only one it causes pain
This will leave a permanent scar
Let's hear you try to explain,
Why are you lying
Why have you done this to us
Don't you realize we're crying?
Even though it's only once
You think that we don’t see
But it’s all coming undone
Hear this silent plea
Is the damage worth the fun?
Is it worth what you believe in
Is it worth our trust in you
Is it worth the things you tell us when
We know that they’re untrue

Coming Undone
I knew it couldn't be perfect forever
But I didn’t think we’d settle for this
Have you forgotten

Excuse my tears
Drenching the paper,

from the disenchanted delusions of success
to the promise of true love
Undone
She felt it coming all undone,
Everything they'd fixed
From where they'd come
Until this new day.
Emotions jumbled
Can every spoken word
be taken back and be undone?
Can I tip-toe across the room
and lay my beating heart
against your one?
Can
