Lara Bingle is a celebrity, model and tourism promoter who was born on June 5, 1987, in New South Wales, Australia.  She has been the focus of public attention regarding her fame, scandal and law suits. Bingle began her modeling career in Milan, Italy during her teen years, and later returned to Australia where she continued modeling.

Bingle became very well known in 2006 when she took part in an international tourism campaign called 'Where the bloody hell are you'. In 2008, Bingle began a new tourism venture called 'Holidays for sale' with channel nine, the same television network on which Bingle claimed fame for ice dancing.

Lara Bingle has been on the front cover of numerous magazines including 'Men's Style', 'Women's Day', 'Zoo Weekly', 'OK magazine' and several others. Bingle's publicist/manager is named Max Markson, who succeeded her previous manager Deb Baker. Bingle's father, now deceased, and survived by Bingle's older brother Joshua, and Mother Sharon was called Graham Bingle.

Controversy has surrounded Lara Bingle more than once. Bingle had an alleged affair with a married Australian Football League (AFL) player named Brendan Fevola in 2006 that led to his marital separation. Bingle later sought to sue Fevola several years later in 2010 for non-consensual public release of a photo of Bingle in a shower. In a poll taken by the Australian Daily Telegraph, 51.93% of 5559 voters didn't care as of March, 19, 2010.

This was not the first time Bingle sued for copyright infringement. In 2006, Lara Bingle also sued the owning corporation of Zoo magazine for releasing photos of her in beach wear that she did not approve. Bingles very expensive Aston Martin automobile was also stolen in 2010, apparently by a 14 year old multiple offender.

Lara Bingle was engaged to a Cricketer named Michal Clarke for 2 years before breaking up with him in March, 2010. According to the Daily Telegraph, the reason for the breakup was Clarke's career being impeded by Bingle's controversy. The worth of Bingle's engagement ring from Clarke, which she retained after the breakup, had been a matter of speculation.  However, the Daily Telegraph also reported an appraiser as saying it's worth is far lower than hundreds of thousands of dollars initially believed.

As a spokesperson for the Bowel Cancer and Digestive Research Institute Australia, Bingle supports research for the same cancer from which her father died from in 2008. Lara Bingle has also participated in the national charity event 'Australia Unites' bushfire charity, and plans to donate funds from her Fivola scandal interview to the 'White Ribbon Foundation'.
