Regrets
Weighed down by so many regrets.
I wept for the wrong choices I have made.
I wasted so much time thinking about
the woulda, coulda, shouldas that have gone by.
From somewhere deep within, I discovered a hidden strength.
I packed up all my heavy regrets, said a silent prayer, and buried them.
Now, I am unencumbered. I am light. I can fly.
I can twirl and dance beneath the moonlit sky.
