I can only write what I know to be fact from my own personal experience. No I have never had a drug problem but I have many friends and loved ones who do. I know that it is a crime to use drugs but lets face it not everyone gets hooked on them from recreational use.

I have gone to the doctor more then once and they try to give you a pain med or Anti-depression drug and then try to tell you they are safe if you use them as directed. Read the fine print my friend most of it, if not all of your anti-depression drug are addicting and harmful that is why they say " don't stop taking this drug before consulting your doctor first.

I know many people who have become addicted to Oxycontin that were given to them by their Doctor for pain and then they are hooked.

Have you ever seen someone try to stop taking one of these drugs after taking them for a while? Well believe me it ain't anything I ever want to see again. They puke, dry heave and have convulsions for two to three days almost non stop.

They literally feel like they are gonna die without it. Then the reasoning comes in to play, just one more time to get rid of this pain and I will quit tomorrow. And of course there is the whole psychiatric problems that they go through. For believe me they are never the same again.

If you have never experienced any of this ya I guess you would say "no it should be handled as a crime". Instead they should have stricter laws for all those drug dealers out there that call themselves Doctors. This is really simple for someone to judge who has never held a loved ones hands for three days while they beg you to just kill them and end the pain.

Or has a loved one who hates themselves so much for what they have put their families through that the drugs are their only relief from the demons in their head telling them that one more time and no one will know test, and they will feel better for it.

Don't get me wrong, there should be a law to punish them but there should be a law stopping the F.D.A from putting all this stuff out there for the Doctors to distribute as they see fit. But wait, then they would be losing all that money so that will never happen.

Fact is they want us to get addicted that is how they make their money. My goodness we need someone to stand up and stop this nonsense. But it is kinda hard when it is the Government that is putting it out there on the streets to keep us down so they can snowball us into thinking that they are so much better then we are.

I think it should be treated as a health problem and a crime.
