Is it possible that George Lucas could make another Star Wars film? Yes, it certainly is. Is it feasible for George Lucas to make another Star Wars film? In my opinion, no it is not. Why? Simple, why ruin a good thing. There are so many other media outlets for the Star Wars franchise. There is the CGI cartoon "Star Wars: The Clone Wars", there are hundreds of published novels, and a line of videogames that date back to the old school game consoles and computers. Perhaps these avenues of release are where Star Wars should find it's new home.
If someone were to approach me and ask what comes to my mind when they mention Star Wars; my immediate thoughts would be: Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and Yoda. And to many other Star Wars fans out there, I'm sure I'm not alone. They may think of another character before one of my suggestions come up. But even so, I dare to say they probably would think of a character from the original series. It is true, that there is so much more involved with Star Wars, but fans have their favorites. And with the release of the 'Prequels' the stories have pretty much been written. Yes, there is much more that happened in the Star Wars Universe, but I would feel as if they were just spinning off in another direction. Would I love to see more Boba Fett-bounty hunter action going on? Certainly; would I want to see this even if it had the potential to start spoiling the Star Wars brand, probably not.
All of the original actors have grown up and are showing their signs of the time that has passed. Would it be possible to have a 'Sequel' to the original movies with the older actors portraying older versions of their characters. I suppose so. But outside of diehard Star Wars fans would the rest of the world care? Once again, probably not. Maybe the Star Wars franchise has had enough of a theatrical presence.
I was one of the Star Wars fans that felt the 'Prequels' were out of place (or out of sync with the Star Wars timelines). All the technology featured in the films was fantastic; but felt too new. Especially when considering the "Prequels" were taking place prior to the original three movies. With that said, they weren't bad films. Just felt out of place. And I would fear that any future films may feel the same way. Growing up for me Star Wars was the battle between good and bad (Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader). Eventually the brand will get larger than it's fan base and start to loose steam. I say leave it the way it is and let fans live out the Star Wars universe in their own way via books, cartoons, and the video games.

This is really a ridiculous concept. The saga is really very perfect the way it is. The only way to continue the story
