Let's take the Bible out of the human equation for a minute. Without this book (which is the greatest story ever told) there would be chaos in the world. The bible is based on faith and hope, and without faith and hope the world would be lost. Many reconsult onto words that were written by twelve men long ago. Through out the generations of time, the bible has been written over and over again.
Many religions claim that faith is the keys to the kingdom of heaven? But how do we know as humans of today that this "book" is truth? Through out history the churches have claimed that if you don't believe in God, you will go to hell? What right do we have to make a person believe in anything. We as Human beings have the gift of "free will" so it should be our choice to believe with or with out faith.
With so many religions in the world, one would tend to think that faith would be based on one little word " truth." It seems like now religions are cramming religions down your throat for you to believe. But the fact is if the faith of religion is so true, why is it the best money maker in the world? Where does the faith come in when it involves money? In this bible it says; " money is the root of all evil?" Both cannot go hand in hand. When ministers preach every Sunday with gold draped on their fingers and say; " God told me to have gold" where does faith fit in? When the minister is driving a new Cadillac and his flock has to walk or catch the bus to his church, where is the faith in his flock going?
Where is faith when a homeless man walks into a church and then escorted out because of what he is wearing? Where is the truth? Where is this "god" that the ministers talk about every Sunday claiming; claiming he is a loving God. We as humans have mixed politics with religion so much that faith has become a question mark for humanity. Faith is something that we all have the power to believe in without throwing the religions into the mix. We do not need religion to justify what you believe in. With so much coming to light in the churches about abuse and affairs; how can faith be the answer to what the human mind is seeking?
Now let's put religion back in the human equation. Here is some things every human should try. Every one that knows a four to eight year old, believes that there is an Easter bunny and Santa Claus. What would happen right now at that age if we told them that there was no Easter bunny or Santa Claus? Their faith in us would be gone because we told them a lie. So when the Christians tonight are kneeling down praying with their child and the child stops and says; " ( to their parent(s) "Mommy is there a God? What is going to be the answer? Remember you just lied about the Easter bunny and Santa Claus.
Their faith in you is running low. But knowing there is going to be an answer saying; "it is different with God. He made us? And you must not question God. The biggest question that should be answered is why not. Just because someone told you not you are you inclined to do so? Faith right now in this world is like money; you have it or you don't.
