Everyone wants to feel they are loved by someone special in their life. If you are lucky enough to find your soul mate, don't ruin a good thing by entering into emotional games that will ultimately destroy what you desire most. When a relationship hits a rough patch, don't try to get your mate back through deception. Stay true to who you are and if your partner moves on, then it was never meant to be. Playing games to win someones love is a very dangerous pursuit.
A prime example of game playing is trying to make your partner jealous. When that green eyed monster inside your loving partner, is unleashed, it may be a force you will not be able to handle. Feelings of jealousy do not necessarily mean your partner loves you more. It may only be a territorial response to the game play. When you know that your partner has tendencies to be over-possessive, you should never toy with their emotions.
Another form of game playing is telling little white lies. People lie for many different reasons, and perhaps it gets them the attention they are craving. You may get away with small untruths for awhile, but your partner will eventually figure out that you are not being honest. Once your lies have been uncovered, the trust in the relationship will be gone. Without mutual respect and feelings of security, no relationship can stand strong.
Being in a committed relationship, can be a beautiful thing. If one or both partners are participating in game playing, either by act or by allowing it to happen, the love will soon die. Love needs truth to thrive. There is no place for lies inside any relationship. Don't fall into the game playing trap. Keep your communication with your partner above board and open.
There is no room for manipulation or deceit inside a solid, romantic union. There has to be honest and open communication between both partners. Keep your eyes open for any signs of behavior that may signal trouble down the road. The last place you want to find yourself is married to a game player.
You can avoid becoming manipulative; you just need to put yourself in check on a regular basis. If you feel that you may be toying with your partner, you likely are. It is never too late to start over, and build a solid and trusting relationship. Staying honest with your partner is the key to avoiding heartache.
