Michelle “Bombshell” McGee, a San Diego based tattoo model, made quite the splash by claiming she had sex with tattooed master mechanic Jesse James. That would hardly be newsworthy aside from the fact she says she did it recently - not in his distant past. Jesse James is currently married to Oscar Award winning actress Sandra Bullock whom Mcgee claims was on location shooting the film Blindside when the affair occurred. While James and Bullock are well known, Just who is Bombshell Mcgee anyway?

The real answer is nobody is really sure who she is. Sure the image is well known and has been all over Tattoo Revue and similar magazines aimed at ink fans and flash artists, just who she is has remained a bit of a mystery. She is a true unknown quantity so far as her personal life until she broke news of her affair with Jesse James.

If you are to believe the rumors, McGee claims to have met James at his West Coast Choppers shop in San Diego. She claims she not only didn’t know he was married, but she didn’t know who he was. That is the first part of the story that is hard to swallow. Jesse James, like im or not, is outrageously famous. He had his own television program, Monster Garage, and before marrying Bullock he was married to one of the top stars in the adult industry Janine Lindemuller. His face and name reached all kinds of people.

Add to that it is hard to believe a tattoo model that has appeared in numerous magazines, some James himself reportedly appeared in or at least had mention in at the same time as Mcgee, how did she not know him? James is known the world over for his ink and it is hard to fathom she was clueless as to who he was considering that and that she lives in fairly close proximity to him - only two hours away which is practically neighbors in California.

Then one must consider why in the world Bombshell McGee would want to spill the beans with the man she nicknamed the “Vanilla Gorilla” in reference to his physical attributes. The easy answer is money. Consider the timing. Bullock just won an Oscar Award, she is at the top of her fame globally. Anything connected to her in even a remote sense is going to get coverage. Then Consider Bombshell Mcgee just launched a website that is so new she hasn’t finished anything but the landing page. It sounds like someone is looking for traffic.

The fact is nobody outside of a niche community had ever hear of Bombshell Mcgee prior to her interview intimating an eleven month affair with Jesse James.  Her timing is impeccable - aside from not having her website finished yet. Her story is full of holes. Nobody is saying Jesse James is known as a saint, but since marrying Sandra Bullock he has outwardly been far better behaved than ever before. Whereas McGee was an unknown one day - the next she is headline news around the world with a website that at least allows you to contact her for booking information. How is that for motivation?

In the final analysis this reeks of a hoax, but given the past reputation of Jesse James - deserved or not - it cannot be fully discounted that an affair was possible. Anything is possible - this just seems to be tied together far too neatly to not reek of a PR stunt and a massive cash grab. There is no arguing they knew each other, but knowing each other is a long way from having a sexual affair.
