Windows Phone 7 Series. The re-branding of Windows Mobile
Microsoft has developed important requirements and rebuilt Windows Mobile, changing home screen and interface. The renewal of its antiquated Windows Mobile interface and its emphasis on social experience -improving important social networking tools- make Windows Phone 7 Series competitive against the iPhone.
Windows Phone 7 Series show a completely changed Start screen, replaced with six Hubs - also referred to as "live tiles"- breaking the mold of static icons with real-time content. Windows Phone hubs are built on specific themes: People, Pictures, Games, Music & Video, Marketplace, and Office.
In particular Office hub has the capacity to separate your work life from your personal one, offering access to SharePoint Workspace, Office and OneNote. People hub allows users to post updates to Facebook and Windows Live, while Music & Video hub includes online music services and a built-in FM radio.
Hubs bring together related content -from the Web, applications and services- to simplify common tasks, such live feeds from social networks.

At Mobile World Congress 2010, Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer said:
"Windows Phone 7 Series marks a turning point toward phones that truly reflect the speed of people's lives and their need to connect to other people and all kinds of seamless experiences."
