When it comes to the best soccer teams in European Soccer,the following clubs rule the roost, this is in terms of success and prestige. Head and shoulders above everyone else in this list are Real Madrid, of Spain, who have won the Champions Cup, as it used to be called {now the Champions League} an astonishing 9 times.

Following them, the next club in the list are A.C Milan of Italy, who have won the ultimate club trophy on no less then 7 occasions. The most successful British club of all time in European Soccer is Liverpool, whose name and European Record is feared throughout Europe. They have won the Champions Cup on no more than 5 times.

Not only that, but they also finished runners-up in the final of the Champions Cup 2 times, which meant that they reached the final of the Champions Cup no less than seven times in all. This record is unmatched  by any other British Club in Europe. Liverpool also won the old UEFA Cup no less than three times too, making eight major European Trophies the club has won over the years.

Manchester Untied have won the Champions League three times, and it has always been something of a sticking point with them that they have never yet managed to reach more finals, and win the Champions Cup on more occasions than they have. Yet still, they are a famous name throughout Europe, and the world, and no doubt they will eventually go on to win the Champions Cup more than they have at present.
