Maybe God exhaled
Or an angel burped
But fresh air came in
Musty air, usurped.
That same God's breath
That angel's whim
Is in all of us
Where red cells swim
God breathed His life
To our verdant world
That freshened air
From Eden hurled
Six billion strong
Earth's humanity
We exhale the haze
Pollute the sea
We trade God's breath
For comfort's shame
We breathe out fumes
In profit's name
Where once was blue
And pristine sky
The hazy brown
Assaults the eye
But God forgives
Restores fresh air
Turns brown to blue
With Nature's flair
So we can live
Through God's sweet breath
Exhaling thanks
Until breathless death

Poetry: Fresh air
by Jack Ivey
You ask is it fresh, is what fresh I say
The air that I feel on this warm summer day
That soft blowing breeze, which flows
by Jerry Curtis
Maybe God exhaled
Or an angel burped
But fresh air came in
Musty air, usurped.
That same God's breath
That angel's whim
The Spring time
Is so wonderful,
the sky is clear,
blue and full of clouds.
The air is fresh and crisp,
the grass is moist
by Jane Allyson
Fresh air.
Wide eyed and even a little scared, we came.
We wondered what the sweet taste was.
It was the air, pure and uncontaminated
by Lisa Kates
Fresh air
Breezes
Waking
Senses
Spicy
Sweet
Of
Freshly mowed grass
Pink and white clover
And
Perfumed lilacs.
Fresh
