Where to find crochet stitch guides online
If the crochet motions of life have been going on for a while and you feel ready to stretch skills with advanced entrelac, broomstick lace or bullion stitches you do not necessarily have to enrol in pricy crochet classes with full blown workshops or borrow a library book or go bookstore searching.
The online method available either through detailed tutorials or video demonstrations offers a free and fast resource from the comfort of your home, at you suited time. An online guide offers you the privilege of learning crochet stitches that are advanced at a time of your preference.
The first online guide for crochet stitches is a website called "Stitch Diva Studios”, another is "Hass design" website with comprehensive crochet charts listing and representation of stitches. Make sure that you are ready for advanced stitches. Since advanced stitches draw on the intermediate versions you should already know intermediate stitches and be able to read crochet charts.
There is a blog called “My life in knots” that has photographic tutorials of the entrelac crochet method. A website “Heal my hands” has a tutorial that is easy to follow on bullion/roll stitches. The “smart crochet” website offers filet crochet. Explore "Hass designs”, "Woolcrafting "also offer cables in full colour. The blog crochet mania by Teresa Richardson offers video demonstrations of advanced stitches these demos are inclusive of broomstick lace, trinity stitch, galaxy stitch, star stitch and others. The videos are on the blog and on you tube as well. Each stitch is clearly filmed and explained. Work through rounds and rows of advanced stitch patterns with tutorial video demonstrations will assist in giving a feel of the new pattern. Prevent eyestrain by having good lighting in the room.
If you have already attempted the online videos and tutorials but still cannot grasp the methods, take a course online. Some of these courses online are free others require a nominal fee. Like “crochetville.org”. That is if you are comfortable with paid crochet classes that can be assessed with a credit card or via the PayPal system.
When looking for crochet stitch guides online, it is important to find a guide that works for you and what you intend to create. Have a look at several online guides to get a feel for each of them and to see which one is going to be the best for you and what you want to produce.
