"Ode To My Critics"
Some glance upon superficiality, and
Name my spirited passion arrogance;
Others endeavour to unlock the depths of my soul
And call my song dishonest,
Snickering words of contempt at my tears,
Blindly mislabeling sincerity
As nothing more than the overwrought melodrama
Of a gifted actress,
Screaming to reinforce her self-glorified position
As the centre of her own universe.
I do not lash out against my critics,
Nor despise them for their ignorance,
Although they so eagerly judge me for my failings.
I am flattered by such animosity
As much as any ovation or compliment
I've ever warranted.
It is all too natural to condemn
That which seems foreign and incomprehensible,so
Go on.
Mock my passion with your vindictiveness,
And know I shed no tears for your malice;
It is for you I write,
Your scorn
The twisted elegance of my inspiration.

Frustrated housewifes
People without a life?
Think again please
A critic is a person who never leaves his weapon at home
His weapon of choice is called a critique
So special and so unique
