At winter's end
just as spirits wane
March arrives
and spring begins again
with roaring winds
and feline power and grace
spring, just like a lion,
winter will displace
and all through the growing season
spring tends it's garden well
new life, new hope, new growth
in every vale and dell
but as the days get longer
and summer sidles in
meekly, like a lamb
spring gives way again

Poetry: In like a lion, out like a lamb
At night I hear the roaring of the winds,
The clash of thunder and bright flash of lightning,
They’re like a hungry

She storms across these ravished lands,
Where winter’s bite still lingers.
A roar, once more, to silence man,
Now reaching
by Tenebris
March played poker with February
And bluffed away three days,
February just laughed, knowing that
They were the winter’s
February went away today,
As March winds blew her away,
Roaring like a lion with a might howl,
Sweeping winter clouds out
In like a lion, out like a lamb
In need of renewal
That's what I am
Ready to shake off
The winter cold
Ready to inhale
Spring
