It hunts me like a wounded prey
my eyes are hid
from break of day
what others seem to deem as light
I cannot see
my world is night
the darkest moments feel too long
I fear the dusk
and dread the dawn
then question why I feel this loss
each moment left
to count the cost
and stumble tween these darkened walls
that crowd me close
they stand so tall
tll I retreat within my mind
And curse the day
that found me blind
