Why it's good to laugh

We should all lighten up a little bit and try to find the humor in our life. Laughing is healthy for you and releases those toxins and agitations that may hinder you from good health. Have you ever laughed so hard, it almost made you cry?  I have and I felt so much better after this orgasmic release. Yes.I will equate laughter,  to an orgasm. The build up and release are exceptional.  It is indeed good to laugh and share laughter with others.

It seems people who foster a good sense of humor , are easy to be around and generally well liked by many. It has even been said, people who make you laugh are often the "light of the party. This individual is at ease with himself, and clearly enjoys the company of others. Therefore , it is good to laugh if you would like to receive countless invitations to parties in the mail.

Laughter is a magnate. Have you noticed, if a group of people are engaged in laughter, soon other will join that small group of people to see what  all of the laughter is about.  One of the number one qualities, women look for in a man.  A sense f humor rates very high on the list.  However, we must negate laughing at or at the expense of another human being. This is never funny. Laughing at yourself requires a humble attitude. Very few people can laugh at themselves.

The world renders many daily stresses.  Dealing with rude or obnoxious people is a daily occurrence.  Take a moment and laugh about this stressful situation. Chances are, it is really not that serious.

One of my favorite outings or dates has always been a comedy club. The laughter is a prelude for a more relaxed evening. you must have caution with this type of entertainment for a very first date. Some comedians may be more offensive, than funny. If your date seems a little uncomfortable, then be sure to remind him or her, it's just a joke.

Another point to consider, humor  may be the highest form of cognitive ability. Yes, it does take an intelligent individual to see the humor in most situations. This is also healthy for our mental state and outlook on life.

Laughter is not to be confused with being silly.   A chuckle here and there is appropriate in most situations. There are some places and events you should never laugh. I'm certain, a funeral or at an accident of any kind, you should abstain from laughing in those cases.

Once at a wedding, a friend of mine, got a severe case of the giggles.  It was silly and inappropriate.  To this day we still laugh about the incident. By the way, she was the bride and she has never let us in on what she was laughing about.  It was a private joke shared between her and her groom. Twenty years later, they are still married. It must have been extremely funny. I will restrain my curiosity and not pry into their business. After all, I have a wicked sense of humor and I can imagine.   A very old adage, simply states, "Laughter is good medicine. Don't you agree?
