I miss you Mom even now as years have past
You were my friend, sounding board, and advocate.
I never got to say good-bye
Even now I wonder why..
Why did you go?
Why do I cry?
I miss you Mom
Sometimes I can’t go on
But I hear you in my mind
Telling me to stay strong and kind
I know you are there and cheering me on
Even as I write some sad sad songs.
I miss you Mom
You were the best I could have had
So no need listening to my dad
And all of his evil…he was only a stumbling block.
Because I ill say it again
Mom
You Rocked!
