When it comes to the sport of hunting for game, there was never a rule made that said who and who cannot partake.  Just like any male dominated sport, there is always a female counterpart.  The same goes with hunting.  Alot of folks would think that the thought of firearms and shooting guns would be a deterrent to females but the truth is evident: Women are a big part of hunting and they will always be.

Hunting, whether it is for deer, bear, or waterfowl, has been dominated by men forever.  As the years wore on, women realized that they too could expierience the thrill of bagging a big buck deer or taking home a nice goose for dinner.  In this day and time though women are just as quick to pick up a shotgun or rifle as any man would.  The bottom line is that women like to hunt for the same reason that men do and today's world is alot different than those of yesteryear.

The main reason that hunting is beneficial to ladies is for the comraderie.  There is nothing like meeting up at the hunt club or at a field to prepare for the hunt.  Women feel the same excitement as their male counterparts.  The main thing though is that hunting brings them together and after a period of time they become associated and are brought together through the sport of hunting.  A woman has the same abilities to pull the trigger on a shotgun just as well as a male.

Another reason that hunting is for women is that it gives them the ability to pass it on to younger generations.  Now days there are expert lady hunters just like the men.  These expert women hunters not only can pass on their expertise to other girls but they can also teach younger men.  Hunting allows women to pass on a vocation just as well as any man can.

There are women hunt clubs all over the world.  They go on hunting trips and partake in the kill just like the guys.  As with any sport, the knowledge and the skill that the women obtain as far as hunting goes can be passed down to anybody regardless if their male or female, black or white, small or large.  A woman has just as much ability to shoot a gun as a man does.

Hunting is for women because it is a sport just like any other kind of athletic competiton.  In this day and time it is just not politically correct to say that a lady cannot do something.  Ladies have been a part of hunting game for a long time and they will be for many years to come.
