Love heals all wounds. The fact that something appears to be “wounded” is just an illusion. The moment you fully realize this is the moment you can fully “heal” yourself, ironically.
We all have our human emotions which can be a deterrent to this full realization, but realize we are not our emotions, they are just feelings to which many of have attached certain meanings. They make up our story which many of us identify with; however, we are merely identifying with something our minds created based on the feelings and perceptions we identify with the most. This is a creation of the mind which is an illusion because we are not the perceptions we have, we are actually the creator of our experiences whether we are aware of it or not. Many of us create these perceptions and get lost in identifying with them. The more we truly realize we have the power to create whatever perceptions we wish to create, the easier it becomes to change our perceptions more in line with our most true self. This self is beyond the perceptions we created, it is much more magnificent and grand. This self is the essence of pure love. When faced with various situations in our lives, we can ask the question, “What would love do now?” Our true self knows the appropriate responses to these situations because it IS love. It is in our innermost feelings just beyond the created perceptions of the mind. Look beyond these perceptions, and you are closer to your true self.
The mere recognition of our perceptions and feelings is a step in the proper direction. To go further, we can allow ourselves to love the parts of ourselves responsible for creating negativity, inner turmoil, and whatever else with which we have inflicted ourselves. It is not necessarily about the behaviors themselves but more about the driving force of these behaviors. What is it about yourself that is causing you to create these behaviors? Deep down, these parts of ourselves really desire love. Many of us have neglected for so long to love ourselves fully, including all parts of ourselves. We must admit that there are certain parts of ourselves which may be fearful in order to fully heal them and bring them to balance. See your fearful parts of yourself as you would a small child. Graciously love and accept these parts as you would love and comfort a small child. Talk to your fear. Reassure it that it too is loved, that it too IS love in its most pure form. Reassure yourself that it is perfectly fine to feel this fear and any other emotions. It is only the fear of the fear which keeps you stuck in it. What you resist will persist, and what you lovingly accept will transform into an expression of love. Your feelings of fear are merely trying to get your attention in order to shine the light of Love upon them. Call on God/Universal Intelligence/Spirit/the Divine/or whatever you wish to call it to assist you in this process. This energy is always ready to assist and bring you stronger feelings of love, so allow it into your life. This love is so deep and pure, that words cannot possibly describe the full beauty and magnitude of it. Even better, we are extensions of this Great Love, for it is within our very souls. Use Universal Love to help you to find your own grand love within. Look within yourself deeply, and you will discover this beauty beyond words.
