There is no economic survival for some as they have no income. Its a cold hard fact of reality lately jobs are just not that easy to come by.You can say save all you want but most people have to choose between eating, keeping warm, paying the doctor bills or just keeping a roof over their heads in general.I worked for many years in the accounting field. In ninety-five I decided to go temporary and had all the work I could handle. In ninety-seven I decided to quit and stay home with grandchildren for a few years. In two thousand and five I decided to go temporary again.Guess what there was no jobs for me.I was highly qualified with an excellent work background and a associates degree to go with it.It was not enough to work in the field I had worked in so many years and had an abundance of jobs.I was told that I had to have an higher degree than an associates if I wanted to work in the temporary field in accounting.I had to let them offer me my salary I could not ask for anything it had to be offered.I graduated with an 3.8 and that was excellent I was told but still not enough to get my feet into a temporary position.I ask why and was told that my field had all gone overseas and was outsourced.I was told what was left here in the United States was for people with higher degrees than what I had.I was definitely shocked.I could not beleive the work force had changed so drasticaly in so few of years. There is no control on the big corporations they are getting cheap labor overseas and that is where all the work is going. This leaves very slim pickens in the united States for people that are in the white collar jobs.I see people loseing everything they have worked for.Now more Corporations are laying off and more people are without jobs. The United States is not economicaly safe for none but the big corporations. The middle class is hard to find now.Everything has gone up and nothing coming down.It not a matter of saving now it is a matter of just surviving. The United States is in bad shape the american people need to pull their heads out of the sand and see whats going on before its to late. Not only are we suffering but our children are going to suffer even more when it come time for them to go into the work force.A college education is not obtainable for a lot of people and without it you do not have much of a chance anymore.I just hope something changes soon for the american people.
