Summer,
I get up in the morning and hear the birds song.
I feel the morning dew as I go strolling along.
I stop for some coffee while on my way,
To enjoy this God sent beautiful day.
The flashing of lightning and crashing of thunder,
the singing of birds all through the summer.
Tells me that God is watching from above,
sending me beauty filled with his love.
I sit at a tree in the shade down under,
Thanking the Lord for a wonderful summer.
