Television is a portal into another time, place, and style. So it is no wonder why the world is so taken in by it. My latest TV show obsession is Discovery channels Myth busters. Myth busters is a show for all those people who ever wondered if the stories they've been told from friends, aunts, cousins, sisters are true or just highly imagined.

The show stars two movie special effects experts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, and no Myth is safe from these guys. Not only is it educational but it is downright funny. From blowing up crash test dummies to ancient death rays Myth busters has it all. But what I really love about the show is there creative way of re-creating situations, naturally you can't have humans doing half of these dangerous myths so they either make a ballistics piece or use Buster there frequently abused retired crash test dummy (poor thing if he only knew what he was getting his retired self into), even creating a stereo system that takes up the whole inside of the car to see if it rattles itself apart. It is great to see these creative minds at work, whether it is for something as silly as Fart myths or something as serious as the buried alive myth, they are amazing to watch.
