No money for his college fund.
With a heart of Gold and no legs to run.
He took his turn and placed his feet in his destiny.
Leaving behind the burdens of his family tree.
Thinking sadly " Mom, please don't cry for me."
So he took a pledge and he made a choice.
The courage of one for a world's voice.
So far away with strangers and uncertainty.
He finds the core that he could never see
He becomes the man he always wanted to be.
So he took a pledge and he made a choice.
The courage of one for a world's voice.
The time is near and his family is too.
And he knows that he is loved.
Dying isn't weakness for he did what he came to do.
