Let's face it, is there any reason why Howard Stern should not be Simon's replacement? Howard Stern is huge and has exactly what that show would need facing the loss of Simon Cowell. Look at the amount of subscribers on his own channel on Sirius. The fact that Howard would bring his on following which in turn adding to the already massive audience is a win situation for Fox, and they know it. What it will all come down to is money. Will Howard be able to continue with Sirius if he pens a deal with Fox? Who knows, but the one thing you will be seeing is a deal involving a massive amount of money.

Howard Stern has built himself into a one man money machine. He has the right kind of attitude to add to this show. If there will be any one to give an absolute honest opinion of some ones talent, it would be Howard Stern. A key ingredient to losing Simon is to get some one who can tell them exactly how it is. Let's not forget adding some one who can be there to side with Randy from time to time. Inevitably, the choice the show will take to replace Simon will be a make or break decision. We could very well see the the show end in a season or two with a poor replacement. The only sensible choice at this point is Howard Stern.

What more do you need to push your ratings through the roof but with none other than America's Shock Jock.  Howard Stern is so perfect for this position it's almost like he was being groomed to begin with. The whole Howard stern show being intimately intertwined with American Idol leaves me absolutely excited. It would be great to see some of Howard's funny stuff come out. This marriage could only mean success to Fox network. Now the question is, will it happen? When push comes to shove will Fox be willing to pay for Howard? Will they be able to match what Howard earns with Sirius XM radio? It will be an interesting topic for some time and that is one thing we can be sure of. 

We all wonder what will become of the greatest show America has come to love. With almost all of our original judging panel gone, we wonder what will become of our show. With the possibility of the Nation's top radio show host becoming the next judge it seems to me that it would breath new breath into a show already hurt by the absence of Paula Abdul. Howard Stern is badly needed and most all would agree.
