Cell phone reviews: Motorola Droid

The Motorola Droid is a Smart Phone that comes with a lot of hype. Verizon is the carrier for this phone and it is the answer to the Apple IPhone. The question is, does Droid live up to all the hype that Verizon has put out there for us?  Owning a Droid phone is definitely different than owning a regular cell phone. The number of things that you can do on a Droid phone makes it worth the money you pay for it.

The Droid has a touch screen that makes it easy and convenient to use. It also has a Qwerty keyboard for your convenience. It can take some time to get used to using an Android phone if you have only had a regular cell phone before. It takes some navigation and you will probably have to ask a lot of question before you can even figure out how to answer it. However, when you got your first cell phone, you probably had the same problems. It's like learning an entirely different way of doing things.

The great thing about the Motorola Droid phone is that you can do everything from it and it is fairly easy to use after you have it figured out. You can navigate anywhere in the world whether you are walking, riding or driving. You can make all of your phone calls more easily and even check the statuses on FaceBook contacts that you have in your phone. You can do that directly from their contact information.

You can sync all of your information from Google mail and download whatever you wish to your phone, as long as there is enough memory to do it with. Your Droid phone even comes with a USB cord (which is also used as a home charger cord) so that you can plug it directly into your computer. There really aren't any limits to what you can do with a Droid phone.

Upon first receiving and opening the Motorola Droid, I was a bit intimidated by it. That is a very unusual feeling for me when it comes to electronics. Those fears were soon relieved when I realized how truly easy it was to use and figure out. The main thing to remember if you purchase one is that it takes a little bit of time to learn all the things that you can do with it. However, when all is said and done, it is definitely well worth the money that you spent on it. The hype wasn't just hype. The Motorola Droid is everything they say it is and more. This smart phone gets a 10 out of 10 rating for performance, applications and tools. The only downside to the phone is the quick usage of battery power. That is only because you will drain it doing all the things that you want to do on it.
