See that little shadow over there?
small and puny like a hare
It tip-toed and slided along the edge
as though walking on a dozen eggs
Shaking breathing sweating out
There's not a penny in that shell
to shoul out loud
"Get out! Get out! Get out!"
That is why it can only do what it can do
to run away like a fumbling fool
while that nasty big thug named Fear
stood up tall and mighty and hail
"Foolish fool! Foolish fool!"
its echo ran down deep and cold
While that fool, crept down and cried
and cried and cried...
till old
