Poetry: Simply alive

by Michael Orr

Created on: March 11, 2010

Time hasn't healed my wounds
Life without never found new rules
Tried to make things work
How did we become such fools

A new life has sprung
A new me you have brung
A new love makes me feel young
Though old, I have a love that is young

You have changed the course of my life
I once again want a wife
Never thought I would do it again
Until you came along and changed the game

I love my new wifey
I need to justify thee
You are my life, my future, my wife
Thank you for giving me a new life
