One Ten, a Five and a Buck
It was now complete, weeks of planning, hours of time consuming observation and the work of placing everything just right. The final step will bring him everything that he has always wanted. A relationship based on trust and courage. Just like everything else in life he needed to take the lead to make it happen. He had learned that the only person to take care of you was you.
"Hey mister, need a cab?”
The cabdriver had caught him off guard. He was always so careful not to be noticed or to leave anything behind by which he could be identified.
Trying to look inconspicuous he replied with a quick, “No.”
He walked hurriedly off in an effort to appear as if he were a local. It had always been his practice to walk a distance from the building anyway and then catch a bus trying to just be another face in a crowd.
Whenever he paid an official visit to the office he always made an appointment to be just another client. But today it had been different he needed to be unnoticed as he checked to make sure that everything was ready. He had to do that final check before his plan would be put into action. After verifying that everything was in its place he felt comfortable that a special relationship was soon to be his.
His past failures in the area of romance had proved to him that he needed to do something more. He needed an advantage to help him be seen as someone who could be a romantic hero in a movie. He knew that in reality that he did not look like the typical leading man but he had so much to offer if he could just find the right woman. So he knew that he needed something to help him be seen as someone to trust, to look up to, yes, and to be seen as a hero. He wanted to be the knight in white armor ready to be the one to rescue a damsel in a time of great danger. He knew that he had the plan to do exactly that, become the hero.
He had noticed her when he had his first appointment with the law firm. She had not been the one that he had checked in with but he watched her as he waited. He had decided that the opportunity to talk with her would only come if he could be represented by the lawyer that she worked for. So he asked the right questions, planned and with the next appointment had his first opportunity to talk with her. As usual it was all business but he could tell that there was some
